She showed me how to curl my lashes, do my hair and face masks, and I was instantly hooked! After school I completed my nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse for the next 20 years. During this time despite the long hours, hard slog and messy work I always turned up to work with makeup and perfume, even on night shift…crazy but true! After having kids I decided to combine my love of beauty and my love of caring for people, and studied to be a Beauty Therapist. I worked in salons to learn my craft while building up a wonderful client base. I now work at my home salon “ Body Essentials” full time and love the variety of work, the creativity, the sharing of ideas, caring for my clients and making them feel good!
